ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Craft & Draft is an annual fall event & has been running for nine years. First and foremost, Craft & Draft is a craft festival that showcases artisans & gives them an avenue to sell their work! Craft & Draft also hosts a variety of craft beer and has all day live music and food. This event is inclusive, family, and dog friendly.
There is no "cover fee" to get into the event, but we do ask patrons to consider donating to help keep the festival afloat. We are a volunteer group of artists who just want to make the city we live in a little more awesome!
WHO DO YOU ACCEPT AS VENDORS?
We accept handcrafted artisan vendors- whether its crafts, photography, print, jewelry, etc - as long as it's handmade. We do allow a small number of vintage vendors. As artists ourselves, we know that sometimes we have to use pre-fabbed items - that is okay, but we do not accept kit made items or vendors who solely use pre-fabricated/manufactured items. We also do not allow MLMs or re-sellers (vintage excluded).
WHAT IS NOT ACCEPTED?
Along with non-handmade items, as listed above, we do not accept any vendors who sport political, religious, or divisive items. We are a family friendly non political/non religious 501c3 non-profit organization and ask our vendors to support & respect that. Please note that social justice & equality are not political issues and we're not upset by the stray curse word or two ;) We know that sometimes jewelry makers like to use the cross, pentagram, ankh, or other symbols on their jewelry or art - in small quantities, that's okay. We do not allow any items that have images depicting weaponry or political ideologies. We are here to answer any questions you may have.
WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO BE A VENDOR?
There's a few things that you'll need!
- All vendors are required to have their own pop up tent, tables, and tent weights.
- Radford City does require all vendors to hold a Radford City business license; a one day license can be purchased thru the treasurers office. We'll send you that info once you've applied.
- It is recommended that you have you have a website/etsy or a social media presence. We will pull photos off of your social media (with your permission) to showcase you as a vendor!
- You are responsible for your own insurance & taxes
IS THERE A VENDOR FEE? WHY?
There is a $75 vendor fee required for all vendors.
This fee helps us pay for advertising the event! We advertise on social media, local newspapers, local tv news interviews, online calendars, and with posters around our area. We also have sponsors to help us pay for our live performers, utilities, stage, porta-potties, and the other gritty stuff. Donations that come in during the event benefit MountainTrotter Arts, the volunteer based non-profit that organizes this & other local events. All the money received at Craft & Draft goes directly into the organization & helps cover the rest of the costs to maintain & hold the event.
HOW BIG IS MY AREA & CAN I SHARE A BOOTH?
WHAT IS THE EVENT SPACE LIKE?
We allow for each vendor to have a 12' space.
You may share a booth with a friend! However, you BOTH must apply & let us know that you'll be sharing a booth. You may also apply for a "Double Booth"
Craft & Draft is a rain or shine outdoor event set up on a large, flat, semi-grassy field at the base of Glencoe Mansion Museum & Gallery. There is an adjacent parking lot for vendors. We cannot drive on to the lot, but loading & unloading is adjacent to the area.
The Crafter's Drafts
We asked our 2020 Craft & Draft Virtual Market Vendors to pair up their products with their favorite beers - and they did not disappoint!

JACK OF ALL CREATIVE
Voodoo Ranger XPerimental IPA
New Belgium Brewing Company
ABV 6.6% IBU 27
WHAT IT IS: American IPA. Our latest IPA experiment. Exclusively dry hopped with Citra Hops.
WHY WE LIKE IT: When Jack Of All Creative’s rangy guard is at the club hankering for a cold one, it’s safe to assume he’d opt for something familiar. It’s easy to see that he and these Voodoo Rangers are far from strangers.
HANK'S HIDEAWAY SHOP
Lunatic Blonde
Wicked Weed Brewing Pub
ABV 6.5% IBU 21
WHAT IT IS: This ale is made with Belgian noble hops and our Belgian yeast. This combination imparts a wonderfully complex, spicy, clove aroma and subtle dried apricot and biscuit-like flavor. This golden ale is a wonderful entry-level Belgian beer for anyone unsure of Belgian styles.
Find this beer at Brick House Pizza.

CLASSIC MURPHY
Wake Up Coffee Vanilla Porter
Birdsong Brewing Company
ABV 5.8% IBU 29
WHAT IT IS: American Porter. A smooth brew with locally roasted coffee & fresh vanilla beans to create a warm foundation of specialty malts and light body with subtle sweetness.
WHY WE LIKE IT: As the weather turns cool, there is nothing better than sitting outside, curling up in a cozy sweater, and enjoying the beautiful mountain landscape of sweet Virginia.

FERAMICS
White Feather Witbier
Eastern Divide Brewing Company
ABV 4.5 IBU 18
WHAT IT IS: "A light, soft and flavorful Belgian Ale spiced with coriander, bitter orange peel, and chamomile." -EDBC
WHY WE LIKE IT: I'm a sucker for anything chamomile. When I sip this beer on a sunny fall day I'm tricked back into thinking that it's still summer. I dare you to try it!

JACK OF ALL CREATIVE
HOPPYUM IPA
Foothills Brewing Company
ABV 6.25% IBU 78
WHAT IT IS: American IPA. The recipe is simple. Take some hoppy. Add some yum. North American malts lend a surprisingly sweet base to copious additions of citrusy Simcoe hops. Great aroma, superior taste, clean dry finish.
WHY WE LIKE IT: By the looks of things, Jack Of All Creative’s hoppy little frogs seem to enjoy the presence of a big, hoppy ale. But don’t get any culinary notions though; the flavor of Foothills Brewing’s fine IPA is far, far superior to that of our froggies’ frog legs!
